Most companies are choosing to cut down on their paper use and are increasingly using digital alternatives- in particular DVDs. DVD distribution is used in many industries- such as film and music.By using modern technology, it is possible to make duplicate copies of DVDs from a master copy.DuplicationDVD duplication is a burning process that copies the content from the master copy to a blank DVD. In the process of duplication, there are many formats which can be used, such as DVD+R, DVD-RAM, DVD-R, mini DVD, mini DVD-RW and DVD-RW. However, the most common format, which can be used in most DVD players is DVD-R.ReplicationReplication is a different process to duplication, and involves using an injection moulding method to pass data from the master DVD to a blank disc. The replication process is rather complex, and as it involves printing and mastering, it is best left to the professionals. Both DVD duplication and replication are extremely useful processes for businesses and individuals alike, and there is no doubt that their popularity will continue to grow.
