    Double Vision Duplication

Duplicating a DVD without proper right is an offence

A DVD is a storage media for any kind of data – music, photos, videos, etc. You can transfer your camera photos and videos to your computer and get it available on a DVD as a back up. A DVD-RW is basically a re-writable DVD. This means you can store data, remove it and store some new data again. It means that there is no need to keep buying DVDs as you can reuse just one.DVD technology has conquered new heights and brought new dimensions altogether with the invention of the Blue Ray disc.A Blue Ray disc which allows data storage six times more than a DVD has a video format beyond what a DVD provides. These are used for high definition videos such as Play Station games and other data. However, as DVD technology gets more popular, people seem to get negligent about issues such as piracy, content copy rights, etc. DVD duplication of private content is not an issue. With the internet now being so easily accessible, it is very easy to get any sort of content. One does not understand that such a kind of content has got copy rights to it and can not be duplicated in any ways. The maker of a film or game for instance, spends lots of money so that these films or games can be distributed only with the maker’s consent. Such duplication is illegal and the person responsible is liable for a heavy fine.As a responsible follower of technology, one should not indulge in such practices and also refrain from accepting illegal content.
