Generally, you may never know about this fact, but the audio or the music which you listen to has to undergo several steps before the final product is out on your music system, whether it is an iPod or a standard CD player. These steps are very important because they make the music much better than before. After recording the song, a CD mastering process helps the final product to be much more enjoyable. The process of CD masteringCD mastering is performed after recording the final song or audio in the studio. There is no doubt that the singers and the musicians have done a great job in making a song but there are still some final touch ups that can improve quality. The CD mastering engineers will process the recordings and remove any unnecessary disturbances or unwanted blank spaces, which improves the overall presentation of the songs. They make sure that the volume of the recorded music or song is constant and they also delete minor pops and clicks that are also recorded at the time of the recording. Basically, the job of the CD mastering engineer or the company is that they have to listen through the audio carefully and make it as errorless as possible. Finally, the end product is clean and easy to listen to and gives you a good representation of the artist or the singer.

What are CD and DVD replication machines?

In the CD and DVD replication procedure, after the glass master copy has been made and is prepared to be replicated, a replicating machine is then put to use to produce the number of copies required. The replicating machines are very prompt in their work. They can mould discs at a speed of 900 per hour.CDS are composed of polycarbonate. These are molded at ease as they are melted at low temperature. The CD and DVD replicating machines initially dry the polycarbonate at a temperature of 130 degrees. After this the disc is vacuum fed and placed into the injection chamber. It is then heated to its melting point 210-320 degrees. After this, it is injected into the mould that has the data print. Once it is full. Water is passed over it and the disc becomes solid. The data is however intact in it. The disc now goes through a process called sputtering. The ultimate stage of this CD and DVD replication process is to add a protective layer to the reflective side to avoid corrosion. A lacquer is applied to the disc. A spin coater machine is used to apply this lacquer. This lacquer gives protection without disturbing the reflective properties of the data side. Then a UV lamp is used to remove the lacquer and this is done very fast. The intensity is high to achieve quick results. So we see that the CD and DVD replication machines are very important parts of the entire replication process.
