    The perfect DVD Replication

For less number of copies we burn each DVD using a DVD writer installed computer. It is time consuming and the burned DVD may not be as perfect or clear as the original. That is where the quality replication is required. Compared to burning a DVD the stamping or moulding method is faster. You can replicate more than 900 DVD’s within an hour in this (glass master) replication method. The perfect DVD replication can be done by using a glass master. A glass master is a master print of the movie or information in a disc. It is prepared on a glass block circular in shape. It will be a little bigger than a CD or DVD. It is then treated with some special chemicals on which the information is etched in pits and lands. This is the best DVD replication method because the glass master is made in specially designed rooms which are clean to the standard of ISO 5 and above. That means there will no disturbances at all. The quality of the replicated DVD’s will be as good as the original or the glass master.Another plus point in doing it in this way is that after replicating a protective layer is applied to the reflective side of the disc. This prevents any type of corrosion or damage to the disc. This protective layer is applied by UV curable lacquer. The lacquer is applied while the disc spins at high speed in a spin coater. Only a thin layer is applied so that the reflective property of the disc is not affected.

This helps every people to feel the originality of the maker. Software companies, music albums and people who need the bulk number of original copies use this replication method. A special device is used for this replication process. In this process of replication the DVD or Cds are first dried and undergoes some machinery systems and finally bulk numbers of copies are made with in seconds. This process helps people all over the world to feel the originality of the maker. This also provides companies a great change to sell their original content all over the world. Nowadays if an object is made you can see another companies create the same model project with a cheap price and simply reduces the chances of the true maker. So this replication process is essential when a company likes to sell their original make to all people. Especially in music albums replication method helps every people to feel the original effect by the composer. The making costs for replication of DVDs are also very low but very effective. The replication process of DVD/CD can be easily mistaken with the DVD/CD duplication. Technique and practical use are the main factors that difference these two processes. The duplication process means to do a simple copy of the original DVD/CD. This would work very well if you need up to a thousand copies, but if you need more than that you should use replication process to multiply your original DVD/CD. Through the replication process, it’s created an exact copy, or a “clone”, for your original DVD/CD.Also, the technique used in the duplication process might not have the best results. A certain brand of DVD/CD player might not be able to read your duplicated DVD/CD. Using the replication process to create copies for your DVD/CD, they will work on any numbered of players. The machines used to replicate DVD/CD use a Glass Master manufacturing process, witch means that a Glass Master is created from your original master. Then molds will be made from this Glass Master. These molds can be considered as blueprints for the DVD/CD replication process. The molds are mounted into a high tech mold machine that will create replicas of the mold in the form of a plastic disc, which then will be coated with a micro-thin reflective layer of aluminum. This layer will allow DVD/CD to be read by players. The final part of the process is to apply a protective lacquer that is spun on the disc and hardened with the use of ultraviolet light.
