CDs are now used widely in all sectors such as – commercial, professional and personal. Creating original CDs can take time and is an expensive proposition; thus the methods of CD replication and CD duplication are used for creating new CDs.Although vastly different, CD duplication and CD replication are often mistaken to be the same thing by many people. However, the truth is that CD replication and CD duplication are two completely different processes used for creating new CDs.CD replication is the complex process of creating original and unique CDs while CD duplication is a simple process of copying the contents of a master CD to numerous readymade blank CDs.Every CD is created individually through the process of CD replication. All the CDs created through CD replication have individual properties. Moreover, CDs that are created through the process of CD replication are of superior quality which is slightly inferior to the original CDs.CD duplication on the other hand creates identical CDs that are exact copies of the master CD and sport all the properties of the master CD. The quality of CDs created through the process of CD duplication is slightly inferior to replicated CDs.CD replication is cost effective only when the number of CDs ordered is more than 500. When less than 500 CDs are required to be created, CD duplication is the fastest and most economical option.
