CD REPLICATION EXPLAINED

CD replication is a process where raw materials are used and a glass master of your disc is produced., from this glass master stampers are made, from the stampers your plastic discs are injections molded, the discs are then coated with a thin layer of aluminium and a protective lacquer to coat and protect them, this is hardened with ultra violet light.

We now have the capabilities to stamp over 250,000 discs a day. As glass mastering is an expensive process it is only cost effective for quantities of over 500.

PRINTING – PACKAGING

CD discs can be packaged to your choice, anything from a pvc wallet to a full colour digi pack. Double Vision can work with you to supply specialized packaging if required.

Printing on the face of the disc is either screen print or litho print depending on your preference and suitability of artwork, we will be happy to advice you on this on receipt of your artwork.
